LocumJobsNetwork is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Internal Medicine MD in Vermont!

About The Position

We are seeking a licensed Internal Medicine Physician for a 125-day locum tenens assignment in Vermont, starting Jan 26, 2026. This role involves day shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and is primarily focused on providing care in subacute rehab, long-term care, and dementia units.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide comprehensive medical care to elderly patients with various health conditions

Manage and oversee the treatment plans for patients in subacute rehab and long-term care settings

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic diseases prevalent in geriatric patients

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes

Utilize the PointClickCare EMR system for documentation and management of patient records

Additional Information

Required Board Certifications : Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Internal Medicine

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required

Must meet credentialing requirements, including a proficient reference from the most recent supervisory position

No gaps exceeding 6 months on CV without a valid explanation
