District Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated District Manager to lead approximately 15 store teams across an assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be a strong operator, a people-focused leader, and an excellent communicator who can drive both performance and culture.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive store profitability while ensuring exceptional customer service and a safe, compliant work environment
- Oversee execution of merchandising, operational standards, and expense control initiatives
- Lead, coach, and mentor Store Managers to achieve and exceed business objectives
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive environment that promotes teamwork and open communication
- Recruit, hire, develop, and retain strong Store Manager talent to build a high-performing district
- Achieve sales, profitability, and expense management goals while supporting both short- and long-term business strategies
- Implement and uphold company processes, programs, and operational consistency across the district
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance, including conducting regular audits
- Manage district budgets and optimize overall store performance
- Ensure a positive, professional environment where customers, associates, and leaders feel respected and valued
- Champion a customer-first mindset and drive consistent service standards
- Travel up to 50% of the time, including occasional overnight travel, to support and monitor district operations
Skills and Experience :
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferredValid driver's license requiredMinimum 5 years of retail experience, including at least 2 years in a multi-store leadership roleStrong leadership and motivational skills with the ability to build and develop effective teamsExcellent analytical, organizational, and presentation skills with a focus on resultsStrong business acumen and effective written / verbal communication skillsExperience in human resources and asset protectionOutstanding customer service abilitySolid decision-making and problem-solving skillsStrong process management skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeAbility to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to above shoulder heightAbility to perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive liftingPerks and Benefits :
