Overview

CTG is seeking to fill an Ab Initio Graphic Developer opening for our client in Dallas, TX.

Location : Dallas, TX

Duration : 10 months

Duties :

Mentor, guide, and train developers on best practices and coding standards.

Foster a collaborative team culture through knowledge sharing and leading by example.

Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable and high-performance ETL solutions using Ab Initio.

Translate business and data requirements into robust Ab Initio workflows.

Drive technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions.

Collaborate with other teams and the Data Management team to align on data strategies.

Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Ab Initio components (GDE, Co-Operating System, Conduct-It, EME, Control Center, Authorization Gateway).

Perform key management with the Ab Initio keys team.

Handle user access management and role configurations.

Skills :

Ab Initio Graphical Development : Proficient in creating and debugging Ab Initio graphs for data processing.

Ab Initio Administration : Able to perform admin-related activities, including access management, configuring EME, Web Application, and bridge services.

ETL Processes : Strong understanding of Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and best practices.

Data Transformation : Ability to perform complex data transformations and data cleansing.

Unix / Linux : Familiarity with Unix / Linux commands and scripting.

SQL : Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, Teradata) and advanced SQL queries.

Troubleshooting : Proven leadership and troubleshooting skills for issue resolution and debugging Ab Initio applications.

Experience :

Hands-on experience leading Ab Initio ETL development projects.

Demonstrated ability to mentor teams and enforce coding standards.

Experience in installation, configuration, and maintenance of Ab Initio environments.

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
