Job Title : X-Ray Technologist

Certifications : BLS, ARRT (R), Fluoroscopy, LA City Fire & Safety

Must-Have :

• ARRT (R) certification
• California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology certification
• Fluoroscopy certification
• BLS certification
• LA Fire Life Safety certification

Description :

The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for performing various types of imaging procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The position involves imaging patients in the operating room, emergency room, portables, and fluoroscopy.

On average, the technologist will perform around 100 scans per day using advanced imaging equipment.

Experience with Siemens RF room, Carestream portables and DR room, and OEC C-arms is preferred.

Knowledge and experience in using Cerner EHR and Merge PACS are essential.

The dress code requires blue scrubs for the operating room and turquoise for the main department.

Orientation will include department-specific training and procedures.

The position also requires flexibility, as shifts may be canceled occasionally.

The technologist should be prepared for a variety of imaging studies and demonstrate competency in a variety of modalities.
