Photolithography Engineer US Citizen or Permanent Green CardOur client is seeking a detail-oriented Photolithography Engineer to optimize and support photolithography processes in semiconductor manufacturing. The role focuses on developing robust lithography techniques, resolving process issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance yield, throughput, and device performance. Key Responsibilities : Develop, optimize, and maintain photolithography processes, including resist coating, exposure, post-exposure bake, and development. Monitor and control critical parameters such as CD (Critical Dimension), overlay, and defectivity. Collaborate with equipment vendors and internal teams to improve tool performance (steppers, track systems). Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process deviations and yield issues. Support new product introductions and technology transfers with process recipes and documentation. Apply statistical process control (SPC), DOE, and FMEA for process stability and continuous improvement. Ensure cleanroom compliance with safety and quality standards. Train technicians and operators on photolithography procedures and best practices. Qualifications : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in semiconductor photolithography or process engineering. Hands-on experience with photolithography equipment (e.g., steppers, coat & develop tracks). Strong knowledge of photoresist chemistry, process integration, and defect analysis. Familiarity with MES systems. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
