Software Engineer with Java and Python

Salary : $130,000 - 150,000 per year

Requirements :

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in a STEM discipline or PhD in a STEM field with relevant experience
• 4-7 years of experience in Embedded Software or 3+ years for PhD candidates
• Over 3 years of Embedded Linux design experience
• Proven experience in Video and Data Communications over Ethernet
• Proficient in embedded C++ and C# programming
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities
• U.S. Citizenship required due to government contract obligations
• Preferred : 3+ years in machine learning development
• Preferred : Experience with Windows WPF development
• Preferred : Knowledge of embedded communication networks using UDP
• Preferred : Experience integrating and testing complex systems
• Preferred : Familiarity with the Unmanned Aircraft development domain
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
• Skilled in problem comprehension, analysis, and solution development

Responsibilities :

Collaborate with the Quantum-Systems engineering team on project tasks

Lead a team to achieve project milestones in a fast-paced environment

Independently implement high-level software architectures with minimal supervision

Troubleshoot complex issues using industry best practices

Integrate unmanned system technologies, including data fusion and vision AI

Spearhead technical software integration efforts

Break down project scope, developing corresponding software architectures and designs

Create and execute Software Integration and Test Plans

Conduct subsystem and low-level technical reviews

Travel up to 10% to meet business needs

Uphold and promote Quantum Systems core principles
