MUS Derivative Operations OTC Portfolio Manager

This position is within the MUSO Derivative Operations function as a member of the OTC Portfolio Management and Confirmations team. The PMC team is responsible for issuance and review of all OTC derivative confirmations which include Equity, Rates, FX and Credit asset class activities.

Responsibilities and Knowledge Requirements :

• Lead the Vanilla Confirmations team, overseeing the daily trade validation and confirmation workflow including tracking progress and swiftly addressing any identified exceptions; issuance of vanilla rates and FX paper confirmations and monitoring of all electronic fx matching activities including CLS.
• Possess a strong working knowledge of the industry utilities used for post-trade matching, confirmation, and allocation across derivative asset classes.
• As an operations manager provide guidance and support to junior staff in preparing, monitoring, and reviewing confirmations, and professional development.
• Oversee the review and verification of inbound documentation for all derivative products to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Serve as a key point of contact for the Derivatives Confirmation team, liaising with clients and internal stakeholders across the firm including Front Office, Legal, Audit and Finance.
• As part of the PMC team participate to ensure all daily and periodic processes relevant to PMC are completed in a timely manner.
