CNC Machinist / Tool and Die 2nd Shift (M-Thu 2 : 00PM-12 : 00AM)

Accountable for :

Operate surface grinder as required for sharpening steel punches and dies.

Conduct basic machining, drilling, CNC operations, and programming.

Collaborate closely with seasoned staff to acquire insights into the specialized aspects of the machinist role.

Demonstrate teamwork and adherence to good manufacturing practices for product safety.

Ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of machinery, tools, and equipment, maintaining a tidy work area in accordance with 5S standards.

Engage in the construction and completion of molds utilizing various machine shop equipment, including drills, mills, saws, and lathes.

Requirements :

To be considered for this position a person must have a knowledge of basic machining operations. Ideally a one or two year diploma / degree in tool and die or machine tool technics has been completed. Background as a machinist, moldmaker, or diemaker is desired.
