Key Responsibilities of Certified Nursing Assistants :
Providing daily routine nursing care and services in accordance with the residents’ assessment and care plan such as :
Assisting with activity of daily living (ADLs) : bathing, dressing and feeding
Monitor vital signs and report concerns to nurse
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment
Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the unit and shift
Attend and participate in scheduled training and educational classes to maintain current certification, such as scheduled orientation programs and activities, facility in-service training programs, etc.
Qualifications & Skills :
Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to patient needs
