Develop and evaluate manufacturing methodsUse a hands-on approach to solve manufacturing problems and improve processesAnalyze and troubleshoot production equipment using technical drawings and mechanical evaluationsProvide technical training to Operators, Setup Personnel, and TechniciansCommunicate across all organizational levels to ensure efficient production methodsDesign and document tooling using CAD or manual drawings for toolmakersAnalyze and plan workforce utilization, space requirements, workflow, and equipment layoutCollaborate with planning and design staff to align product and tooling designs with efficient production methodsWork with vendors to determine specifications and coordinate procurement of equipment, materials, or partsEvaluate products for compliance with specifications and quality standardsEstimate production timelines, staffing needs, and costs for management decisionsCoordinate with management and engineering to align manufacturing capabilities and production schedulesApply statistical methods for forecasting manufacturing requirements and machine capabilitiesPlan, implement, and report on cost-reduction projectsSupport continuous improvement efforts including 5S, Kaizen, and quality systems complianceWorking Conditions
