About the Role

EverOak Dermatology and Aesthetics Center is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant with a strong background in dermatology. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on clinical work, patient interaction, and a fast-paced medical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with medical dermatology procedures : biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, wound care, suture removal
Assist with cosmetic dermatology procedures : Botox, dermal fillers, microneedling, chemical peels, laser treatments
Prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments
Manage pathology specimens and ensure accurate labeling / documentation
Document visits and support clinical workflow in the EHR (EMA experience a plus)
Provide aftercare instructions and patient education
Take vitals, review histories, prepare charts
Support front desk / check-out as needed (team-based startup environment)

Requirements

Minimum 2 year of dermatology MA experience required

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – required

Familiarity with Modernizing Medicine (EMA) electronic medical record system

Strong knowledge of dermatology terminology, procedures, and sterile technique

Excellent communication skills and patient-centered attitude

Ability to multitask and remain organized in a dynamic and fast-paced clinical setting

Professional appearance and dependable attendance
