Real Estate Associate Attorney

Overview
Direct Counsel is recruiting a mid-level real estate associate attorney to join a high-performing Real Estate Group. Candidates should have strong experience in acquisitions, dispositions, real estate development, land use and zoning, and commercial leasing. Familiarity with real estate financing is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage small-to-mid sized matters and key portions of larger transactions.

• Draft, review, and negotiate acquisition, disposition, development, leasing, and land use agreements.

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.

• Support the team in real estate transactional work, including due diligence and project coordination.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of real estate transactional experience (large law firm preferred; boutique experience considered).

• Membership in the Texas or Florida Bar, or eligibility to be admitted.

• Strong oral and written communication, research, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment.

Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this role is $235,000 – $365,000, depending on experience and location.
