As a Technical and Business Writer, you will be responsible for drafting and reviewing documentation across a variety of functions.
Job Description
We are seeking a Technical and Business Writer who will be responsible for drafting and reviewing documentation for business and technical writing. This is a full time contract and is onsite in Boca Raton, Florida.
What You'll Do
Draft and review documentation related to but not limited to, procurement activities, such as purchase orders, service agreements, vendor contracts, modifications, and amendments. Creates contract documentation,
including the development of the scope of services, performance requirements, and terms and conditions
Develop language that defines the delivery, service, quality, and pricing for services or products procured
Ensure language is clear and consistent and coordinates with all business units and stakeholders to ensure all protocols, procedures, and requirements are developed in accordance with the Department’s needs
Maintain internal documentation library, providing and / or coordinating special documentation services as required, and oversight of special projects as needed
Works on several moderately complex, to complex documents management projects as a project team member
May coach more junior staff
What You'll Need
Required :
Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies, Technical Writing, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience
A minimum of 5 years of business or technical writing experience and working knowledge of procurement processes / documentation.
Must have strong organizational and project management skills and excellent writing and editing skills
Ability to develop new contractual language based on business needs and should not rely only on template documents
Preferred :
Knowledge of federal, state, and / or local procurement laws and regulations
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$68 - $72 per hour
The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
