Concrete Production Laborers
Join our team at a leading concrete manufacturing plant. We specialize in creating high-quality precast concrete products for utility companies and custom projects, including storm drains, light poles, and highway rails. We are seeking dedicated individuals to fill positions as Production Laborers and Cage Builders.
Responsibilities
Read blueprints and drawings to construct rebar forms for pre-cast walls.
Strip concrete castings from all forms and clean damaged caulking, concrete, and other materials.
Construct and assemble basic wood forms and block outs using Styrofoam and wood.
Install proper rebar cages and required cast-in items per approved shop drawings.
Cast, vibrate, and finish fresh concrete.
Assist with forming and pouring concrete, and perform duties at heights when necessary.
Assemble rebar cages for concrete pouring, including occasional welding and torching.
Essential Skills
Experience with reading blueprints and tape measures.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Basic math skills, including adding, subtracting, and working with fractions.
Concrete labor or construction experience is highly beneficial.
Ability to read and interpret directions and prints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Possession of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as a hard hat, high visibility vest, safety glasses, and work boots is a plus.
Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb, and perform overhead reaching and bending.
Knowledge of concrete, construction, and landscaping.

Work Environment

While the environment is non-climate controlled, it offers a dynamic and engaging work atmosphere. The facility is equipped with large cranes to assist with handling extremely heavy concrete.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SPRING CITY, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00 / hr.
