Warehouse Technician

This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items from the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Following appropriate safety guidelines and uses safe work habits. The position is located in our Mobile, AL Operations Center.

Duties and responsibilities include :

• Receives, counts, and delivers / pulls stock items, records data manually or using a computer; moves freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage areas. Loading docks, delivery or pick-up vehicles and parts counter by hand or using trucks, forklifts, and other equipment; packs and unpacks items to stock on shelves in stockrooms, warehouse or storage yards; stores items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
• Cleans and maintains supplies, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with department policies and regulations; disposes of damaged or defective items or returns them to vendors at the warehouse manager's direction.
• Assists other warehouse workers
• Performs daily inventory cycle counts and investigates discrepancies to identify the cause of count error.
• All other duties as assigned
