Job Description
Summary : Performs high quality magnetic resonance imaging scans, patient care, and professional services. Operates MRI equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Provides high degree of compassionate patient care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Work Schedule / Hours : Full-time with benefits. Monday through Friday totaling 40 hours per week.
Qualifications :
Certificates and Licenses : ARRT Registration (or working towards); Venous Injection skills; CPR Certification; State License of applicable
Education / Experience : Associate's degree (A. A.) in Radiological Technology or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
Personal Characteristics : service oriented; compassionate; highly organized; accurate; dependable; respectful; honest; proactive; team supportive; open communicator.
Communication Skills : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to hospital personnel, patients, and other employees of the organization.
Computer Skills : Basic personal computer skills including electronic mail, scheduling, word processing, and spreadsheets.

Work Environment :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; risk of radiation and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Demands :
The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
