Job Description

Akido is rebuilding the healthcare experience from the ground up. Through early interventions designed around social determinants of health (SDoH), world-class care focused on chronic disease, and human-centered technology, we believe we can build a healthcare model that allows for all patients to live their fullest lives. We are a fast-growing, impact-focused, Y Combinator company created out of the University of Southern California's D-Health Lab with the idea that empowering government, healthcare, and nonprofit services with population-based data could help usher in a new era of preventive public health. Today we are building a full stack medical network that leverages our predictive capabilities to provide a frictionless experience for both our patients and care providers.

The Opportunity

Join our team as we reimagine healthcare through AI. We're building tools, like our custom-built EMR, that leverage AI to help our clinicians reduce administrative burden, improve decision-making, and focus on what matters most : patient care. As we're expanding our EMR's capabilities, we're looking for a product leader to help shape how artificial intelligence transforms the clinician and patient experience. You'll work across our platform to create a cohesive, AI-first experience. This role reports directly to the CTO, Co-founder.

What You'll Do

  • Product management for Akido Chart (our EMR) while maintaining oversight and consistency across care delivery platform.
  • Partner with a dedicated engineering team and shared design resources to ship features that solve meaningful problems for patients and providers
  • Lead in-person product discovery and usability testing with physicians, MAs, and care teams across our network
  • Collaborate closely with our agent architects to define new AI capabilities and continuously improve agent performance, accuracy, and usefulness in clinical settings
  • Define and drive the roadmap for how we embed AI into high-impact workflows in primary care, complex care, and community-based medicine
  • Translate complex clinical problems into elegant product solutions through mockups, specs, acceptance criteria, and agile delivery practices
  • Support sprints, QA, releases, and ongoing iteration in collaboration with engineering, clinical operations, and analytics
  • Contribute to company-wide strategy on AI-enabled healthcare delivery, working directly with the CTO

What You Have

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years in healthcare technology or clinical operations
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and ship impactful features in fast-paced, high-complexity environments
  • Experience designing or supporting AI-powered software or agent-based systems (or deep curiosity and ability to learn fast)
  • Strong UX instincts and experience owning product discovery through delivery
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially working directly with clinicians and technical stakeholders
  • Preferred : experience with EMRs, medical operations, or care management platforms
  • Benefits

Health benefits including medical, dental, and vision

    401K

    Long-term disability

    Life insurance

    Paid Leave Program

    Salary range

    $200,000—$225,000 USD
