Registered Nurse Job Details

Location : Elizabeth City, NC 27909 (North Carolina healthcare jobs)

Unit : Medicine Unit 2 – Telemetry

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 29 / 2025 – End : 3 / 30 / 2026)

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (36 hours / week)

Number of Positions : 2

Free Parking : On-site

Orientation : Weekly, every Monday

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,880 – $2,020

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license (required for all RN jobs)

Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry or MedSurg nursing experience

Proficient in reading and interpreting cardiac rhythm strips independently

Willingness to float between MedSurg units and surge spaces as needed

BLS certification (required for healthcare professionals)

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Provide exceptional patient care in the Telemetry unit and float to MedSurg / surge spaces as needed

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs for telemetry patients

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Accurately document patient care and nursing interventions in the electronic health record

Educate patients and families on care plans, cardiac monitoring, and health management
