About The Position

Job Title : Registered Respiratory Therapist

Profession : Respiratory Therapist

Specialty : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8 : 30 AM - 8 : 30 AM

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of previous RRT experience required and at least 1 travel contract completed.

License : Current Iowa RCP license required.

Certifications : BLS, NBRC

Must-Have :

• Home Health experience is a plus.
• Durable medical equipment (DME) experience is strongly desired.

Description :

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients.

The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

The position includes equipment management for pediatric and adolescent patients.

On-call duties will be required every 4th week for the entirety of the week.

There is a requirement to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays : Christmas, New Year’s, or Thanksgiving.

Travelers may request a limit of 1 day off between specified dates during the holiday season.
