Position Highlights : No critical care required; focus is on performing procedures in the hospital and seeing patients in the clinic. Procedures include navigational bronchoscopies with biopsy, thoracoscopy, and EBUS. A dedicated lung nodule clinic will be opening to provide follow-up care for these patients. Team Structure : Join a team of 4 physicians (one sleep-certified) and 1 nurse practitioner (with plans to add another NP soon). Collaborative and collegial environment with strong physician and administrative support. Hospital Details : Work at a single, modern hospital with 217 beds and a 24-bed ICU. Hospitalists are in-house 24 / 7; E-ICU provides overnight and weekend coverage. The hospital serves patients from 12 surrounding counties and offers a full spectrum of specialties. Oncologists in the area have a high demand for lung nodule patient appointments. Additional Information : The facility is 10 years old and well-equipped. Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
