Entry-Level Substation Electrical Engineer Job Summary

POWER Engineers is seeking an Entry-Level Substation Electrical Engineer to work in the Power Delivery Substation Department in our Mount Laurel, New Jersey office. Flexibility is available for a hybrid work environment (employee will need to live within driving distance of the office).

Responsibilities

• Support the department in producing high-quality designs consistent with POWER's mission and culture.
• Assist in the detailed design of low to extra-high voltage substations, including :
• One-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, SCADA, communications, station physical layouts, sections / elevations, cable and conduit plans and details, ground grid design, foundation plans, structural plans, control enclosure design, lightning protection, yard lighting, bills of materials, and site visits.
• Support QA / QC processes for deliverables.
• Learn and adhere to client standards and processes, working individually or within a team to complete complex designs.
• Occasional travel may be required.
