Job Description
This is a remote position.
The Data Integration Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust data integration frameworks that ensure seamless and secure data flow across the organization. This role requires deep technical expertise in data architecture, system integration, and governance, as well as strong leadership and communication skills. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop scalable, compliant, and high-performance integration solutions supporting enterprise-wide objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-level data integration architectures aligned with organizational and project goals.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement tools, technologies, and platforms that support data integration, migration, and transformation.
- Develop and maintain data models, metadata repositories, and documentation to ensure consistency and transparency.
- Ensure secure, efficient, and accurate data movement across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to maintain integration integrity and compliance.
- Establish governance frameworks for data access, transformation, and lifecycle management.
- Identify and resolve data flow bottlenecks, integration failures, and performance issues.
- Mentor and guide technical teams to uphold best practices in integration development and operations.
- Communicate complex data integration concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
Required Skills and Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining data integration systems of similar size and complexity.Minimum of 5 years of experience in :Data Integration Architecture DesignTool & Technology EvaluationData Modeling & Metadata ManagementCloud & Hybrid Integration ExpertiseStakeholder Communication & GovernanceStrong knowledge of integration platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Informatica, Mulesoft, or equivalent).Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.Ability to lead, motivate, and guide staff to ensure secure, accurate, and timely delivery of integration services.Education and Certification
Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field).Required Certification : Certified Solutions Architect for the proposed cloud platform.Preferred Certifications :Certified Integration Professional (CIP) – IACIPCertified Data Management ProfessionalAdditional Information
