As the director of investor relations , you'll lead all aspects of communicating Progressive's strategy for delivering financial value to investors and other partners (including credit rating agencies, equity analysts, and financial media). You'll monitor competitors' financial performance and key trends in the insurance industry and stay current on capital markets activities that utilize equities, debt, reinsurance, and insurance-linked securities. You'll also coordinate with internal collaborators to develop a strategy and complete various Environmental, Social, and Governance-related (ESG) issues.
This is a hybrid / remote position, with a preferred location in Cleveland, OH.
Must Have Qualifications
- A minimum of eight years property casualty insurance or related professional experience
- OR Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or related field of study (e.g., Economics or Accounting) and a minimum of five years of property casualty insurance or related experience
- OR Master's in Business Administration and a minimum of three years property casualty insurance or related professional experience.

Senior-level leadership experience in managing and developing cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and driving performance to achieve pivotal initiatives within finance, treasury, or investor relations functionsSolid understanding of the property and casualty insurance industry sector, including underwriting, reinsurance, insurance-linked securities, and capital markets activities, with experience at a carrier or large brokerageProficiency in analyzing financial documents, market trends, and competitor performance to provide actionable insights, including financial modeling and reporting tools to communicate complex data effectively to collaborators in the property and casualty insurance industryExceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate Progressive's financial strategy and ESG initiatives.Knowledge of ESG frameworks and reporting standards (e.g., Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB), and Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)) to integrate sustainability and ethical practices into corporate strategyCompensation
