Title : Associate Attorney - Construction Litigation

Compensation : Base Salary $130K-$170K + Hours Bonus

Location : Hybrid - Chicago, IL

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in various legal matters, focusing on construction litigation, while providing high-quality legal services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and filing legal documents
  • Conduct legal research and analyze case law
  • Represent clients in court and during legal negotiations
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
  • Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather information
  • Prepare for trials, including witness preparation and evidence gathering
  • Review and draft contracts related to construction projects

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the state bar
  • 3+ years of experience in construction litigation
  • Strong research and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Hours Bonus at 1950 hours
