Job Summary
We are seeking a Full-Time Hybrid Child Psychologist to provide comprehensive behavioral health support to children and adolescents. This role offers a flexible hybrid schedule with one onsite day per week in the Bronx and the remaining days via telehealth. The ideal candidate has strong pediatric clinical experience, works well in collaborative care settings, and is committed to serving diverse communities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment plans for children and adolescents.
- Provide individual and family therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, psychiatrists, school counselors, and social workers.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care team meetings and case reviews.
- Maintain thorough documentation in EMR systems, including assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Educate families on mental health conditions, strategies, and coping tools.
- Support the continued expansion of behavioral health services within the community.
Qualifications
Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited institution.Active New York State Psychologist License.Minimum 3 years of experience working with children / adolescents in clinical settings.Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required).Experience working with Medicare and Medicaid populations.Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills.Ability to work effectively in hybrid care (onsite + telehealth).Experience providing culturally competent care to diverse communities.
