We're looking for a Senior Accounting Supervisor to oversee critical financial processes, ensure accuracy in reporting, and provide key insights to drive business decisions. Key Responsibilities :
- Manage intercompany transactions between domestic and international subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee the general ledger accounting cycle and ensure all transactions are recorded properly for month-end closings.
- Execute monthly consolidation and elimination processes in line with corporate standards.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS principles.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors, coordinating timely fulfillment of audit requests.
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for assigned areas and processes.
- Prepare and maintain detailed supporting schedules for balance sheets and income statements.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the budgeting process and ensure financial plans align with organizational goals.
- Leverage technology to automate and streamline manual accounting processes.
Qualifications and Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.Expertise in the insurance industry (preferred).Strong knowledge of the full accounting cycle, general ledger processes, and financial reporting standards.Proficiency in US GAAP and IFRS principles.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and other relevant accounting software.High attention to detail and accuracy, with strong organizational and time management skills.Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and supervise a team.Exceptional communication and analytical skills, with a problem-solving mindset.
