Inside Sales Engineer - DMG North role at Ambient.
DMG (an Ambient Company) is a growing sales and distributor company representing major HVAC equipment manufacturers with 150+ employees and growing. This is an exciting opportunity to directly impact the organization and customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Supporting assigned Outside Sales Engineers to facilitate sales
- Supporting fellow Inside Sales Engineers as back-up, when necessary
- Advising customers with the proper application and selection of the equipment we sell
- Preparing quotes for equipment based on customer input
- Entering orders for the equipment sold by the Outside Sales Engineers
- Detailed tracking of the order process
- Managing the virtual files for all projects in which assigned salespeople are involved
- Using the selection programs provided by our manufacturers to select and configure equipment for design and quoting to contractors
- Assisting customers with technical support on our product lines and maintaining good working relationships through verbal and written correspondence
- Preparing submittals for equipment sold
Qualifications
Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) preferred, but will consider equivalent job experience2-4 years of experience in sales, manufacturing and / or engineering (as stated in the description)Ability to communicate well and work with others; interacts daily with multiple internal and external teamsMust be extremely detail orientedCustomer service drivenSolid communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong computer skillsWork well in a team settingThrive in a fast-paced, multi-task environmentNetSuite experience not required, but a plusCompensation & Benefits
Compensation : $680-100k annually, DOE
