Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Engage students in a dynamic learning environment by providing tailored speech therapy. This full-time position focuses on supporting elementary students with diverse needs, including Autism Support and general education.

Qualifications :

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY)
  • Experience in school settings, particularly with elementary students
  • Proficient in developing and implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Knowledge of various speech and language disorders and appropriate interventions

Location :

Shippensburg, PA Elementary School Setting

Responsibilities :

  • Assess and provide treatment for students on your caseload, focusing on speech and language development
  • Develop and implement IEPs, ensuring alignment with each student's goals
  • Collaborate with educators to create inclusive learning experiences
  • Provide direct support to Autism Support students and integrate communication skills into their daily lessons
  • Conduct regular progress monitoring and adjust therapy techniques as needed
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
