Job Description

As a Civil Litigator at our firm, you will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of civil litigation cases, including business disputes, commercial litigation, construction issues, consumer law matters, the Deceptive Trade Practice Act, and contract disputes. We are seeking a motivated attorney with 2-7 years of practice experience who is eager to take on significant responsibilities and grow within our team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to support case preparation and prepare legal memoranda.
• Draft legal documents pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Prepare for trials by organizing evidence and developing case strategies.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials as both second and first chair
• Attend court hearings and client meetings
• Advocate for clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to litigation practices.
• Collaborate closely with senior attorneys for mentorship and professional development
• Provide clients with clear guidance on their legal rights and options.
