This role will drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation. You will select suppliers through qualification processes, own supplier results, drive improvements utilizing supplier scorecards; own supplier audits, ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed. Also has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.

Roles and responsibilities include :

• Ensuring suppliers meet Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Quality Development guidelines.
• Acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
• Leading small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
• Tracking metrics and working on quality improvement plans to address problem areas.
• Reviewing and approving quality plans, investigating quality escapes to provide root cause analysis and ensure effective corrective actions.
• Mentoring suppliers in the application of quality tools & requirements.
• Ensuring compliance, and driving improvement plans where needed.
• Reviewing documentation and witnessing supplier practices to determine if sound manufacturing and inspection principles are in place.
• Utilizing in-depth knowledge of a quality and / or castings to execute policy.

Travel required : 25 - 40% of the time.

The base pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $120,000.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary / commission based on the plan.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
