  • Clinical Shift Schedule : No clinic call during the day; call after 5 PM to 7 AM (Monday Thursday), Friday 12 PM 7 AM
  • On-Call Shift Schedule : 24-hour call coverage on specified dates
  • Call Type : In-House Call
  • Call Response Time : Immediate as needed

  • Case Mix : OB, C-section, GYN procedures including IUD insertion / removal, cystoscopy, and hysterectomy

  • No. of Beds in Department : 5 Labor & Delivery beds, 3 triage beds
  • Trauma Level : No Trauma
  • EMR System : Epic
  • Specialty Backup Available : Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) available 24-hour call; transfers to Prisma Richland, Columbia, SC if needed
  • Reason for Coverage : Supplemental

  • Credentialing Timeline : 90 days

  • Licenses : Active South Carolina license required
  • Board : Board Eligible (within 5 years)
  • DEA : Active DEA Certification
  • Certifications : Not specified
  • Experience : Must have Epic EMR experience
  • Other Qualifications : Fellowship required

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Provide 24-hour OB / GYN call coverage.
  • Manage labor and delivery patients, including unassigned patients from the ER.
  • Perform C-sections, GYN surgeries, and other OB / GYN procedures.
  • Coordinate patient transfers to higher-level care facilities as needed.
  • Document patient encounters in Epic EMR system.
