Senior Global Human Resources Advisor
As a Senior Global HR Advisor, you will be a trusted partner to employees and managers across regions, delivering exceptional HR advisory, employee relations, and culture-building support. You'll help operationalize global HR programs, ensure compliance, provide talent solutions to complex problems, enrich our employee experience, and enable high-performance behaviors consistent with Hyland's values and growth ambitions. This role operates within a global ticketing queue, where timely triage, accurate complexity assessment, and adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) are essential to delivering consistent and high-quality HR support. The Senior Global HR Advisor handles complex or high-risk cases, mentors peers, and will play a role in identifying global process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
1. HR Advisory & Manager Enablement
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers across multiple countries via a global ticketing system
- Triage incoming tickets, assess complexity, and prioritize resolution in alignment with SLAs and KPIs.
- Coach leaders on performance and talent management, compensation, engagement, and team development to drive accountability and growth.
- Interpret and apply HR policies in alignment with Hyland's values, culture, and global compliance standards along with country-specific laws / regulations.
- Partner with HRBPs and COEs to bring consistency to global initiatives while adapting for local market needs.
2. Employee Relations & Compliance
Manage employee relations cases through our global case management system with objectivity and speed.Conduct investigations, document findings, and make recommendations that balance risk, fairness, and business impact.Partner with Legal HRBPs and regional leaders to ensure compliance with local labor laws.Lead complex or cross-regional cases and advise on global ER standards and trends.3. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement
Coordinate end-to-end operational logistics for talent transformation programs and workforce transitions.Support and refine HR processes for efficiency, scalability, and positive employee experience.Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation tools within HR workflows.Maintain accurate documentation and HR system data (Workday).Lead projects that enhance global HR case analytics, automation, or self-service capabilities.4. Culture Engagement & Change Enablement
Champion Hyland's organizational values and evolving "high-performance global tech" culture helping employees and leaders understand and embody it.Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners to translate business strategies into actionable HR initiatives aligning talent structure and culture to meet evolving organizational needs.Partner with leaders to interpret engagement survey results and drive meaningful action plans.Support organizational change initiatives and new ways of working.Facilitate manager training or engagement workshops and share regional best practices globally.Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field. 7+ years HR experience. Experience supporting employees and leaders across multiple countries or regions. Strong understanding of local employment practices and labor laws. Proven track record managing employee relations cases with sound judgment and confidentiality. Experience in fast-paced
