Personal Injury Paralegal

Full job description Personal Injury firm in New York City is looking to hire an experienced personal injury paralegal with litigation experience. Candidates must have at least three years in the personal injury law field. Must be able to multitask, have excellent computer and organizational skills and able to meet critical deadlines. Candidates who can speak fluent Spanish are preferred. CANDIDATES WITH NO EXPERIENCE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Specific daily tasks include the following and candidates must be able to :

• Draft correspondence;
• Draft pleadings and motions;
• Draft initial discovery demands and responses;
• Review and summarize medical records received from providers;
• Prepare files for depositions, hearings and trials;
• Electronic filing on both the state and federal level;
• Monitor discovery end dates and other critical deadlines;
• Assist with settlement negotiations. Job Type : Full-time Pay : $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Schedule : Monday to Friday FULLY IN OFFICE
