Engineering Manager

We are seeking an Engineering Manager for our First Quality Baby Products location in Macon, GA.

The primary purpose of the position is to lead and manage project engineering, ensuring we have the optimum facilities and manufacturing processes / lines as well as to provide Engineering / Technical stewardship.

Primary Responsibilities Include :

• Lead, direct, and coordinate all facilities construction and new manufacturing equipment installations.
• Provide functional stewardship / oversight for all aspects of Engineering.
• Initiate / commercialize process development projects, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Implement quality improvement and cost reduction projects.
• Develop design criteria for new equipment.
• Ensure that the business operation has the engineering / technical capability for meeting future business requirements.
• Maintain a safe work environment, actively involved in improving safety systems and eliminating the causes of accidents.
• Must exhibit a strong attention to detail in all aspects of role
