Description :

This position is for a straight rehabilitation unit.

The role involves caring for patients primarily recovering from acute strokes.

Other patients may include those with cardiac issues, weakness, deconditioning, and various needs for acute rehabilitation.

The unit is small with a total of 17 beds.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 5.

The position requires working every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Additionally, floating within skill set may be required if census is low.

There is no on-call requirement.
