Job description

Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove, the leading manufacturer of luxury kitchen appliances, is seeking an IT Manager to lead a highly specialized platform team focused on the SAP suite of products.

The IT Manager will report to the Senior IT Manager Business Delivery and ensure the streamlined operation of the SAP S4 / HANA on RISE within the IT department, supporting the business objectives of the enterprise. This individual will plan, coordinate, direct, and manage a team providing SAP BASIS, Security, & Integration, while closely managing the long-term relationship with SAP.

The primary responsibilities of this role include :

  • Managing the SAP security, cloud, BASIS, and integrations for this enterprise solution
  • Effectively communicating with the business process owners (PBOs) and business teams
  • Partnering with Domain and Solution Architects to translate business requirements into functional / technical requirements
  • Managing relationships with delivery partners and communicating technical requirements
  • Collaborating with IT Infrastructure & Operations to define Release plans
  • Partnering with the SAP RISE lead for project and run support
  • Responsibility for planning and overseeing upgrades with proper test plans and execution
  • Ensuring optimal use of the system and adherence to SAP license compliance
  • Overseeing system upgrades, patches, backups, disaster recovery planning, and compliance with internal and external standards
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and adoption of new SAP technologies
  • Establishing and leading incident management protocols to respond to major incidents affecting SAP S4 / HANA operations

The required qualifications for this role include :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Extensive experience leading ERP operational or project teams

    • The preferred qualifications for this role include :

  • Experience working with interfaces, such as Java connectors and Rest APIs, communicating with non-SAP applications
  • Experience working with SAP S / 4 HANA deployed on RISE
  • Experience working in ERP project implementations
  • Demonstrated expertise in SAP Basis, system administration, backup / recovery, system integration, and incident management
  • Proficiency in ITIL processes and best practices for IT Operations
  • Experience working with vendors, cloud-based solutions, product roadmaps, and support lifecycles
  • 3-5 years of SAP BASIS, Security, & Integration experience in a cloud environment
  • SAP certification
  • Ability to work within a transformational, fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
