Your Role :

As a Senior Tax Specialist at H&R Block, you will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate their tax obligations and empower them to make informed financial decisions. You will build lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their trust and satisfaction year after year.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct engaging tax interviews with clients through various methods - in-person, via video calls, phone, chat, and email.
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive tax returns tailored to diverse client needs.
• Drive business growth by enhancing client retention and recommending additional products and services.
• Support clients in dealing with any IRS inquiries or notices.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to fellow teammates.
• Successfully complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Bring practical experience and knowledge from accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax backgrounds.
• Demonstrate expertise in completing individual tax returns efficiently.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to digital communication tools.
• Communicate effectively in-person, via phone, and in writing.
• Meet IRS and relevant state requirements.
• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent; higher education is preferred.

Pay Range : The pay range for this position is $11.00 - $80.00 / hour, influenced by factors such as experience, education, performance, and job location. Successful candidates may have opportunities for incentive compensation.
