About the role

CS Erickson is seeking an experienced and innovative Systems Engineer to support the design, estimating, and implementation of Structured Cabling projects. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our Structured Cabling solutions, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to industry standards.

What you'll do

• Provide technical expertise in the design, development, and integration of complex Structured Cabling systems.
• Support sales staff with quote generation and engineering
• Support the design and architecture of Structured Cabling systems, considering project requirements, safety standards, and client needs.
• Create detailed documentation, including system specifications, architecture diagrams, system schematics, system flow diagrams.
• Develop innovative and effective design strategies to optimize system performance and efficiency.
• Develop comprehensive testing plans and methodologies to validate the functionality and performance of systems.
• Collaborate with project teams to implement improvements and enhancements to existing Structured Cabling systems.
• Ensure that systems adhere to industry safety standards, regulations, and electrical codes.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and clients, to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
