Essential Duties and Responsibilities as a Warehouse Associate during events

• Ensure smooth and accurate handling of inventory and in-house catering equipment.
• Pull in-house equipment and stage it to ensure consistency and aesthetic appeal.
• Maintain organized and efficient storage of equipment and disposable products.
• Conduct regular cycle physical inventory counts and inform of any low stock levels.
• Perform regular bathroom checks, upkeep with cleanliness, and restock of bathroom supplies.
• Clean and return catering equipment to the proper storage location in the warehouse.
  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities as a Houseman

• Keep the venue clean: maintenance and upkeep of foyer, cask room, platter room, warehouse, candle closet, linen closet, service area, Syrah Suite, Boardroom, etc.
• Ability to read and understand Event Worksheets, including menu and equipment details.
• Ability to read and understand Event Layout diagrams so that events are set up correctly.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down the event, including tables, chairs, cups, flatware, etc.
• Execute various projects as determined by management. Make sure to read instructions thoroughly, follow instructions as requested, and ask questions if anything is unclear.

Additional Information

• This is a part-time, on-call position based on event needs.
• Responsible for checking daily/weekly/monthly/ongoing projects.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a secure working environment for everyone.
• Responsible for effective communication with Management, team members, and other departments.
• Demonstrate teamwork by cooperating and assisting guests and team members as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Reliable and dependable work ethic.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift is a plus.
