Must-Have : Previous charge experience preferred.
Description :
We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in ICU for travel assignments.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of ICU nursing experience.
Nurses will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care.
Required skills include accessing ports, arterial line management, and central line management.
Candidates must have experience with ventilated patients and blood product administration.
Candidates should be familiar with managing patients with acute renal failure and using high flow nasal cannula.
Knowledge of interpreting arterial blood gases and managing dysrhythmias is essential.
Nurses will also be expected to assist with procedural sedation administration.
This role includes the possibility of floating to other units as needed.
Commitment to every other weekend and on-call duties may be required.
Candidates must be comfortable with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 4-5.
Fluency in a charting system, preferably Epic, is strongly preferred.
Applicants should be aware of the requirement for compliance with background checks.
All certifications must be current and held at the time of application.
Experience includes caring for diverse patient populations across the lifespan.
