Athletic Trainer / Work Strategies Specialist

FedEX at the DFW Airport

Hours / Schedule as follows :

Tuesday - Thursday 11am-7pm

Friday 11 : 30am - 8 : 30pm

Saturday 8am-3pm

Full Time

Starting salary : $ 56,326.40

Work-Strategies Specialist / ATC – Dallas, TX - Industrial setting experience a plus!

Responsibilities

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is looking to hire a Work Strategies Specialist / Athletic Trainer for Fed Ex at the AFW Airport. Job responsibilities for this position include OnSite coverage of an industrial client : Early Symptom Intervention, Ergonomic Risk Analysis and injury prevention services. This position is ideal for a well-organized candidate with a diverse scope of interests and the ability to work independently. Industrial experience is a plus, but not necessary.

Job Duties :

  • Responsible for OnSite coverage for industrial client 40hrs / week
  • Design and implement injury prevention programs for the industrial setting.
  • Ergonomic Risk Analysis
  • Early Symptom Intervention for work-related discomforts providing first aid services as appropiate.
  • Qualifications

  • BS Degree (required)
  • Licensed Athletic Trainer State of Texas (required)
  • Minimum one year clinical experience, Industrial setting experience a plus
  • BOC certified- preferred but not required
  • American Heart Association BLS CPR Certification
