The Boeing Materials & Processes Technology (M&PT) team is seeking an Electrical M&PT Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This role supports Huntsville production programs (PAC-3, SLS, GMD, etc.). The roles and responsibilities described below spans the entire production cycle of the program.

We are looking for a broad range of experience including Entry-Level, Associate and Mid-level M&PT Engineers.

The successful candidate will support daily operations of the cells and interact with Production, Engineering and Integrated Product Team (IPT) teams and provide knowledge and expertise necessary for successful operations and maintenance of these assets.

Position Responsibilities :

• Applies engineering knowledge of electrical, electronic and electro-mechanical components in evaluation of new components for assembly and subassembly design
• Collects information to support definition of requirements for tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes used in the manufacture and engineering design of products
• Create and revise specifications for components, and support subcontractors and suppliers to ensure electronic components are qualified for Boeing usage per the contract and the Parts, Materials and Processes (PM&P) plans
• Performs tests to qualify new tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes to meet requirements
• Assists with activities to qualify suppliers to applicable requirements
• Conducts basic analysis to determine performance or reasons for failures of tools, materials, parts or processes
• Use your understanding of design / requirements to recommend new and alternate electrical components for new product development and legacy programs
• Support the creation and maintenance of component data for control of parts on development and production programs
• Incorporates environmental health and safety, LEAN and Quality principles into (1) materials and processes, (2) research, design and qualification, (3) work procedures and (4) labs and office areas

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and / or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Level 1 : Education / experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor), or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Level 2 : E ducation / experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Level 3 : E ducation / experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range :

Level 1 : $ 71,400- 96,600

Level 2 : $ 88,400-119,600

Level 3 : $ 107,100-144,900
