Reporting to the Site Maintenance Electrical Supervisor, the Site Maintenance Electrician is responsible for various electrical maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will be able to perform electrical maintenance on fixed assets to minimize plant interruptions and / or breakdowns.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for providing maintenance / electrical support across the entire operation
- Troubleshoot and maintain power to PLC and variable speed drive controlled high speed production equipment in crushing and process plants.
- Interpret schematics and equipment manuals.
- Perform Preventive Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance.
- Complete assigned work safely and efficiently both with and without direct supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS :
High School Diploma or GED required .Electrical or Instrumentation Certificate through a technical trade school or university, required .3 years minimum industrial electrical / instrumentation experience working with 3-phase 480-volt motors and controls, generators, pumps, motors, fans, and various process control instruments or equivalent preferredThe ability to work with multiple platforms such as Allen Bradley, Toshiba, Control Logix, Siemens, preferredAbility to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds, requiredDemonstrate strong computer skills requiredMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in inclement weather conditions, when necessary, requiredDemonstrated ability to perform essential functions of the position requiredFlorida Canyon is an equal opportunity employer, values diversity in its workforce, and encourages applications from qualified candidates.
