MeBe Occupational Therapy Position
MeBe is a family owned provider of evidence-based therapies for children with autism and other special needs. MeBe's Occupational Therapy team provides individual and group therapy sessions for children ranging in age from 6 months to 16 years on average diagnosed with :
- Autism spectrum disorder
- Developmental delays
- Sensory processing disorder
- Articulation challenges
- ADHD, anxiety
- Cerebral palsy
- Down syndrome
- Learning disorders

Independently evaluate the functional ability of patients through the administration, interpretation of standardized tests, clinical observation, and patient / family interviewCreate individualized treatment and educational plans and provide patient / family counseling and training.Consult closely with multi-disciplinary team members to create collaborative treatment plans and integrative strategiesProvide individual therapy sessions as well as group and / or co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate.Maintain patient records, documentation, and appropriate billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy to ensure excellent standard of careDevelops and implements innovative and specific treatment plans to maximize the patient's functional potential or return to previous level of functioning, based on clinical findings. Facilitate functional and stimulating experiences to target and achieve individualized goalsContribute to program developmentEducate patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs that complement treatmentTimely documentation of client progress and complete billing logs ethically and accurately for occupational therapy services providedQualifications :
Current state license in OTNBCOT : National Board for Certification in Occupational TherapyCPR / BLS CertificationMaster's Degree in Occupational TherapyAt least 2-3 years of experience working as an OT with pediatric populationValid driver's license and auto insuranceAbility and experience working independently, using critical thinking skills and processes to arrive at objective, strategic, results-oriented decisions within the context of patient care and department, division and organizational prioritiesWork in a collaborative environment with other clinicians with varied backgrounds in fieldBenefits :
