About The Position

License : Florida State or compact license required at time of submission

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; TNCC preferred

Must-Have : EPIC experience required

Description :

The Registered Nurse will work in the Medical Intensive Care Unit.

The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1 : 2.

The position requires the completion of weekend shifts, every other weekend or a total of 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period.

Floating to other units or locations may be necessary based on unit needs.

The candidate must have a proven ability in various critical care skills.

Experience in accessing and managing ports, arterial line management, and care of ventilated patients is essential.

Skills in blood product administration, central line care, and ICU patient management are required.

The nurse will be expected to assist with medical procedures and manage complex clinical situations.

The applicant must provide two references from authority figures within the last year.

Flu vaccination is required during the specified season with exemptions accepted for medical or religious reasons.

Compliance with the COVID-19 vaccination requirement is necessary, excluding exemptions.
