What You'll Do

Role snapshot : In-office Network Technician / Engineer (not remote) who's hungry to learn. Mix of day-to-day ops, small projects, and remote-hands field work. Some travel required.

As a key member of our Engineering & Operations team, you will :

• Support day-to-day operations of Quintillion's telecom network, including fiber, DWDM transport, Ethernet, IP / MPLS, and OSS / VM systems.
• Perform system administration tasks for network management and OSS environments.
• Conduct field service work, including troubleshooting and maintenance of Outside Plant (OSP) and Inside Plant (ISP) infrastructure.
• Travel to remote sites across Alaska to provide on-site support and resolve technical issues.
• Assist with provisioning standards, system upgrades, and network performance improvements.
• Monitor system and network security, including patching, vulnerability detection, and access controls.
• Collaborate with managed service providers and internal teams to deliver reliable connectivity solutions.
