Warehouse Dock Worker - Salisbury, NC

Shift : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM (No Weekends!) Pay : $14.50 per hour + Production Pay!

Job Summary

As a Dock Worker, you will play a crucial role in the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse dock. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, verifying shipments, operating warehouse equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized dock area.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently load and unload cargo from trucks and within the warehouse.
• Inspect and verify the contents of shipments against bills of lading or invoices, ensuring accuracy.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move freight.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the dock area, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Package and wrap goods appropriately for transport, preventing damage.
• Record cargo information, including weight, charges, and any damages, accurately.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate loading and unloading operations and ensure smooth workflow.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
