This opportunity is ideal for individuals interested in contributing to our team as an AI Enablement Engineer intern within State Street's Global Technology Services organization. Our technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients. What You Will Do :

In this role, you will perform the following day-to-day activities :

Python Fundamentals :

Strong grasp of Python, including OOP, decorators, and async programming. Ability to build REST APIs and CLI tools.

GenAI & RAG Basics :

Understanding of prompting, embeddings, vector search, and evaluation techniques. Exposure to LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.

Data Handling :

SQL and Spark basics, with awareness of data quality, lineage, and governance.

Software Engineering Practices :

Git, unit testing, CI / CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker).

Cloud Awareness :

Basic familiarity with AWS services like Lambda, S3, and SageMaker.

Agentic AI Concepts : Interest in autonomous workflows, agent memory, and decision quality tracking.

Problem Solving :

Ability to work independently on well-scoped tasks and communicate findings clearly.

Education and Preferred Qualifications :

Candidates should be :

Final-year undergraduate or graduate students pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics & Computing, or related technical disciplines, with strong fundamentals in programming, data handling, and AI concepts who are interested in converting to a full-time role post-graduation

Salary Range :

$41,600 - $65,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
