Position Overview :

The Landscape Arborist - Estimator will be responsible for assessing new tree care projects, estimating the cost and time required for completion, and preparing bids for potential clients. This role requires in-depth knowledge of tree species, a strong background in tree trimming and maintenance, and the ability to evaluate the scope of work for tree removal, pruning, or treatment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Job Estimation & Bidding :

Visit client sites to assess tree work requirements, including tree trimming, removal, pruning, and other related services.

Identify various species of trees and their specific care needs, hazards, or challenges.

Use prior experience as a tree trimmer to accurately assess the complexity and time required for each job.

Collaborate with the tree care crew and project managers to ensure that estimates align with available resources and team capabilities.

Qualifications :

At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in tree trimming, pruning, or removal.

Strong knowledge of tree species common to the Bay Area and their respective maintenance needs.

ISA Certified Arborist (Required).

Ability to travel to job sites and assess work conditions in various outdoor environments.
