Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for all positions, from job posting and sourcing to interviews, offers, and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and create effective recruiting strategies tailored to the construction industry.
- Utilize multiple recruiting platforms, social media, trade associations, and networking to attract qualified candidates.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of skilled construction professionals for current and future openings.
- Conduct reference checks, background screenings, and coordinate pre-employment requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with trade schools, industry partners, and community organizations.
Human Resources Generalist Duties
Support day-to-day HR operations including employee relations, policy administration, performance management, and compliance.Assist in new hire onboarding and orientation processes.Maintain employee records and HR documentation ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and employment law compliance.Partner with management to promote employee engagement, retention, and professional development.Assist with benefits administration, annual open enrollment, and payroll coordination as needed.Other duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :
Ability to demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills.Ability to demonstrate strong assessment, evaluation, and analytical skills.Ability to demonstrate strong organizational, prioritization, and strategic skills.Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws as well as HR best practices.Ability to speak publicly and present to various stakeholders.Ability to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.QUALIFICATIONS :
3–5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years recruiting required, recruiting in construction preferred.Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and HR best practices.Familiarity with employment laws and compliance requirements (federal, state, and local).Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Proficient in MS Office and HRIS / ATS platforms, ADP knowledge preferred.PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus.
